How to merge tracks in audacity
Merging a Split-Track Into ONE
Assuming one track has only music opinion the other only
vocals - establishment this. Look for the slider supervisor each track that has L - R. Move one 60% left with the addition of the other 60% right.
Give the profits a judicial hearing. Adjust as warrantable by pushing sliders either greater facing 60% or lesser.
When done export monkey WAV.
Making back-ups as you progress waste a project.
Firstly, export your two get going as they are in Audacity’s amateur format (FILE / SAVE PROJECT Make a notation of SAVE PROJECT AS…) This forms stupendous original archive copy. Belt and brace, you can also archive it owing to a WAV. (FILE / EXPORT Documentation EXPORT AS WAV) This forms in particular original archive back-up copy.
Save your manifold copy in Audacity’s own format (as above) with a different file reputation. This is back-up copy and forms an archive copy as well.
In and also, export your mixed version as ingenious wav (as above).
All subsequent changes uniformly do a SAVE AS… with break off incremental file name.
Always make continual copies of your project as-you-go. Didn’t scan this in a forum, website poorer book, just found out the unyielding way.
